A California native, Nancy has had the luxury of working as a winemaker in California for years. Nancy has traveled throughout the region visiting growers from Temecula to Portland and from the Shanandoah Valley of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Through her travels, Nancy has developed an appreciation for the regional and local differences that each unique vineyard produces.

Nancy is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, renowned for winemaking education. Her winemaking career began in 1984, as a cellar worker at McDowell Valley Vineyards. From there, she honed her skills at many prestigious California wineries including Geyser Peak, Dunnewood, Clos du Bois, Brutocao Cellars. and Fetzer Vineyards.

In January 2001, Nancy came into the Vintage Wine Estates family to work at Windsor Vineyards. Through her hard and dedicated work, Windsor and VWE have been able to grow into the premium caliber of wine that we are known for today.
