Productivity Tip: Precook the Week’s Meals

Being a working Mom is hard enough. Try being a Mom and an entrepreneur. I imagine that they have to hack their lives on a daily basis to get things done at home and in the business.

Lifehack pulled together a list of 25 productivity tips for Momtrepreneurs, including suggesting that you cook the week’s meals in advance. I do this and I’m not even a Mom.

The way this works is that you either completely cook the meal or pre-prepare as many of the ingredients as you can: cook the rice and pasta, chop the veggies, and cook the meats (if possible).

This is the only way I get to enjoy home-cooked meals (instead of drive-thru meals) on a regular basis. Also, cooking at home is easy on my budget too.

If it works for me, it may work for you.

If you want to give this a try, the kitchn offers a week’s menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They include tips on adding variety to the menu as well.
